DEPARTMENT CHAIRMAN: DR. A. SCOTT GREER A. Scott Greer, Ph.D. was awarded his Bachelor of Philosophy degree from Monteith College at Wayne State University in Detroit. He attended California State University, Los Angeles where he earned his Master of Arts degree in Psychology. Dr. Greer completed doctoral studies at the California Graduate Institute with training in the treatment of adolescents. Dr. Greer has been active in the development and clinical direction of residential treatment programs for adolescents. He has developed several hospital and community-based programs. He has also provided inservice training for school districts and parents on mental health issues of adolescents. Dr. Greer has appeared on CNN and network television as a consultant on the treatment of adolescents. Dr. Greer maintains a private practice, provides ongoing clinical supervision and program consultation at several area mental health agencies. He also provides psychological evaluations for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. FACULTY This unique faculty is comprised of practicing professionals - Clinical Psychologists; Marriage and Family Therapists; Licensed Clinical Social Workers who add to the instructional process their abundance of ongoing experience in clinical psychology and other psychotherapeutic work situations. Since their commitment is to their profession, they willingly share their knowledge and skills with students who will soon join them as colleagues. PROGRAM DIRECTOR: DR. BRUCE GREGORY Bruce Gregory, Ph.D. was educated at the University of Southern California where he received his B.A. in Psychology. He earned his M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and his Ph.D. in Professional Psychology from United States International University where he focused on the integration of eastern and western philosophy. Dr. Gregory has also had extensive training at the R.D. Laing Institute in London and with Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, M.D. Dr. Gregory has maintained a full-time private practice for the past sixteen years in Van Nuys. He now divides his time between his practice and corporate consulting, specializing in team building and leadership development among senior and junior executives. The emphasis in his private practice is on mind-body healing, object relations, and work with couples.
